Meg's Faves
See below for a list of my current favorite baby and toddler sleep products! I do not earn a commission from these products. I genuinely just like them!
This SlumberPod product completely changed the dynamic of our family travels. While traveling (even with babies and toddlers) has always been a priority for me, it was such a hassle to create positive sleep environments. It created stress and often posed limitations on our travel arrangements.
Plus, no one wants to travel with an overtired baby or toddler. This product is the ultimate game changer. Approved for indoor travel, the OG versions are designed to fit over a pack n' play or toddler mattress. If you want to travel, this is a NEED.
There are lots of great swaddles on the market (and some not so great ones as well). There are several reasons why this Ollie Swaddle is what I use for my newborns.

The material is breathable and keeps your precious newborn at a comfortable temperature. The velcro keeps them swaddles snuggly but safely. The loose material around the hips allows movement to protect their physical development. The colors are adorable. And it's easy to transition them out of the swaddle.
I recently discovered this Sleepea swaddle and while I haven't used it yet (I learned about it after my youngest had already dropped the swaddle), I have every intention of using it for my next baby.

Affordable and brilliantly designed, this swaddle comes in a variety of cute prints, includes breathable mesh material, and prevents your newborn's cute little hands and arms from escaping their swaddle.
Sound machines are an incredible sleep tool. I even bring mine to the hospital when giving birth (for me and my newborn). But they are not all created equally. I've used my fair share of white noise machines and I've got to tell you, some of them produce very irritating white noise sounds.
The LectroFan EVO is absolutely my favorite. It provides multiple sound options that are rich in quality, soothing in nature, easy to adjust to the perfect volume, and there are no lights to distract you or keep you up at night.

Whether you're listening to it through your baby monitor or using one for yourself, this is a great option. The price reflects the quality, but I definitely consider this worth investing in.
This sleep sack is my favorite for transitioning out of the swaddle. The unfortunate situation with infants is that they have to transition out of the swaddle before their startle reflex is gone. This means that your baby may suddenly start waking in the night more often than when they were swaddled.

Enter the Zipadee-Zip swaddle. Their swaddle allows your little one to safely maneuver their arms and body as needed. But also provides slight tension if they startle, which can be soothing to many infants. I used these when both of my girls dropped their swaddle and ended up buying them in larger sizes too because we all loved it. They have regular and fleece options. And have added several new colors and prints. I recommend checking Google for a discount code.
My oldest daughter loves her sleep sack. Wait, that's not strong enough of a sentiment. She is obsessed with her sleep sack. We went through a very long phase where removing it in the morning and after her nap was a negotiation that had to be treated with the utmost care, consideration, and brilliant timing.

But my daughter is also very tall for her age. And by age 2 was quickly outgrowing her largest sleep sack. There are a few toddler-sized sleep sacks on the market (many of which are alarmingly expensive). So when I found an affordable option, I was stoked. And quickly became converted.
What I love about MiliMili toddler sleep sacks are the length (42") and their buttery soft fabrics. Many older toddlers move on from their sleep sack. But if, like me, you find yourself on the lookout for one, we love ours!
At home I use video monitors (though I haven't found one I love. Let me know if you have any recommendations). But when traveling, I bring sound monitors with me. I don't have to worry about setup, connecting to the internet, etc.

I purchased this set and keep it packed with my SlumberPod and pack n' plays. Whether we're traveling as a family or dropping the girls off for an overnight stay with their grandparents, we know we'll have a way to check in on them.
